About Us:
Gardner Technologies Inc. was founded in 2000 by Nelson Gardner, its president.
GTI serves the mid-Atlantic region and represents Marine and Test Equipment manufacturers.

Mission Statement

GTI offers expert, comprehensive technical sales service to manufacturers of instrumentation devices, equipment and programs to public and private sector organizations throughout the mid-Atlantic region.  Our Secret Clearances facilitates access to government installations, and our expertise in identification of customer applications enables us to successfully bring together the manufacturer's products and the user.  Our personal relationships and regular visits with our customers allows us to identify long range industry needs and trends as they develop. Communication of these needs and trends provides invaluable insight for manufacturers so they can maintain their position of leadership in their fields.

Nelson Gardner (GTI President) graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) in 1972. After being employed as a Design Engineer by Optronic Laboratories and Test Engineer and Engineering Manager by Gould Incorporated, Nelson joined G&P in 1987. Over a ten year period, he successfully expanded the company into eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, southern New York and Delaware. As an equity partner in Gans & Pugh Associates, Nelson relocated to Maryland in 1997. At that time his responsibilities included Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia.

Charlie Pugh covers GTI customers west of I-95.

He graduated from the Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Engineering Science degree in 1968.  He worked for the Thiokol Chemical Corporation - Rocket Engineering Department, taught high school physics in Baltimore County, sold copiers for Xerox, sold graphic computers for Tektronix,
and worked for manufacturer's representative Gans & Pugh Associates.

He served in the United States Army Reserve.

Tom Tantalla graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University Long Beach.  With over 20 years of experience in the industrial automation industry, Tom joined GTI early in 2011 and has added strength to our sales team.  He is responsible for Western Maryland, Eastern Pennsylvania, and parts of Virginia.  Tom enjoys time with his family as well as sailing on the Chesapeake Bay.

Anna Little Fox is GTI’s Office Manager and has worked with GTI since 2005.  She and her husband Alvin live in Edgewater, Maryland.  
Anna is currently attending AACC pursuing a Business Management degree, and enjoys traveling, jewelry making, and remodeling her home.
